Lisa did a wonderful job of getting the children actively involved in the prewriting process through visualizing, sharing, and planning. My class was very focused on writing and illustrating a "trick" they could teach Abby. The tricks ranged from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Even I couldn't resist the desire to join in the fun! The children worked very diligently on the story planning guide that Lisa provided, and I look forward to the stories that follow in class next week!
