This last day of 2009 is a time to reflect upon the year that’s over and contemplate life next year. What is working well in your life? What would you change?

Time’s Square in New York City has a New Year’s Eve Wishing Wall. It is a place where people submit their wishes for the new year. The wishes are put onto confetti and come sailing down at midnight. . .kind of a neat idea. . .Confetti Wishes

Here are some of the wishes that have been submitted:

“I wish I can fly.”     “To find happiness again-not to be sad.”

“To end world hunger.” “I wish that my father isn’t sick.”

“To master the saxophone”     “Win the lottery”

“All troops return safely from Afghanistan”     “A cure for diabetes”

“I want to live in New York City.”

“I wish for my daughter to speak to me again (soon)”

“For my family to stay safe & healthy and to lose 20 lbs.   ”

“My wish is to find true love with that special someone.”   “I wish I had one kitten.”

“I wish I could swim without arm floats.”
