8-24-09 Summer Morning Buddies
Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers
Renae and Abby Sunshine lay cozily in the morning hours. Will they get out of bed? From the picture, you may wonder. What I’ll tell you is that they’ve each been up and about already. For one thing, little Sunshine sleeps in a kennel, so this is surely not her usual routine. She’s already had breakfast, been running outside and greeted each of us. She’s not in a habit of sleeping with her buddy. Secondly, this isn’t Renae’s bed. Although Renae hasn’t been quite as active as Abby, she has been awake for awhile. Here she and Abby are curled up in a lazy morning setting, thinking about what to do on these last days before school starts.
Of course the next important information needed for planning your day is the weather. As Renae eats her bagel, she and Abby Sunshine look out the picture window. What is the weather like today? Is it still raining? I don’t think so!
