Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever
I couldn’t very well receive a letter like this without sharing it with all of you! I was so excited – it made my day!!
Long ago, before President Obama was president, I wrote a letter to the Obama family. It was shortly after the election and inspired by the announcement of their decision to get a dog. I suggested that the Obamas consider getting a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
As you probably figured out, that suggestion didn’t come to be –tough competition with Ted Kennedy giving them a Portuguese Water Terrier!
I’ve also included Bo on this blog. You may recall my entry from July 10th, entitled “A Real Water Dog.”
Anyhoo, Michelle sent me a letter and a picture of Bo, wishing me “all the best!” For this I am honored and shall endeavor to persevere on my journey with Abby Sunshine.
